Summer recreation sign-up starts in May. If the event says "drop-in," you don't need to register; simply show up.  Grades are determined by what year the students just completed. Be sure to follow us on Facebook for any weather-related delays at Bluffton Parks!

Summer Recreation Activities Registration Options:

Free Tennis Lessons

These tennis lessons are offered June 2nd - 20th at Lion's Park (228 Midway), weather permitting. 

A parent must register their child and provide a completed Tennis Waiver (PDF) the first day they attend. The class is determined by the grade the student will enter or by being age five by June 1st. Times for the lessons are as follows:

  • 9:15- 10: 15 am 5 years to 1stgrade (Mondays only)
  • 9:15 – 10: 15am 2nd – 4th grade (Tuesday – Friday)
  • 10:15 – 11:15am 5th – high school (Monday-Friday)

Splash Pads

The City of Bluffton also maintains two local splash pads, open each year from Memorial Day Weekend to the day after Labor Day. Hours of operation are 11 am to 7 pm.

  • Pickett's Run Park - 304 E Washington Street
  • Roush Park - 925 W Silver Street
